If you are looking for the best Italian food in Miami, you are at the right place. Pasta and pizza are so easy to make, but if you want to try something else or don’t have time or will to cook, we’ve prepared a list of the best restaurants you have to check out. And the timing is perfect as summer is the best season to explore, visit new locations and try new foods.

So, let’s dive into our list and discover the best Italian restaurants in the Miami area.

Mi’talia Kitchen & Bar

Mi’Talia Kitchen & Bar is a must-visit place if you want to taste the best Italian food in Miami. Chefs Janine Booth and Jeff McInnis carefully plan the menu to satisfy anyone’s cravings for delicious food. Both Northern and Southern Italian specialties inspired the dishes, and the chefs gave their twists on the traditional ones and made a unique experience for their guests. Here, you’ll enjoy some of the well-known plates from this famous country and some of the specialties you’ve never had a chance to try before. If you try their pizzas or pasta dishes, you will not go wrong, but we recommend trying Orzo Seafood Scampi and Truffle Crusted Filet Mignon. And don’t forget to sit outside and enjoy your night while sipping a cocktail called Umbrellas in Amalfi.

Via Emilia Garden

This lovely restaurant is specialized in the northern part of Italy and has an exciting menu. If you feel a bit down and want to eat good food, this is a spot you should hit. Every item on the menu will warm your heart and hug you, so the blues will disappear as you take the first bite. So yes, the dishes on this menu are the definition of comfort food. You must try the beer-battered mushrooms and the pumpkin Cappellacci in Bolognese sauce if you decide to visit. But whatever you choose, you’ll be more than happy.

Doma

There are many Miami Italian restaurants; however, there are not many fine-dining ones. And Doma is the place if you are looking for a fine dining experience while eating Italian-inspired meals. The food is extraordinary, and you will be in for a treat. The starters are lovely, and we can’t get enough of zucchini flowers tempura.

Osteria Morini

Another restaurant featuring specialties from the north of this Mediterranean country is Osteria Morini. This place is among many people’s favorites across the town and locals at South Beach. We can recommend anything from the menu because everything is delicious, but if you’re visiting for the first time, you should try the mortadella meatballs or pistachio-crusted duck breast.

Carbone

Another South Beach location is the Carbone restaurant. If you are not going to visit it for the food, you should see it for the experience. It’s a special place that will teleport you to some older times. Their most famous dish is spicy rigatoni in a vodka sauce, and of course, you have to try it. The moment you walk in, you will feel some old school-vibes did you can’t feel anywhere else today. We know you’re going to visit this spot, and don’t forget to order some cocktails, too, when you do so.

Fi’lia

Are you in the mood for some excellent pizza? At Fi’lia, you can try some of the best wood-fired pizzas in the area. The pizza with fontina cheese is the guests’ favorite, so that’s a recommendation. And if you are not in the mood for pizza, you can try the traditional spaghetti carbonara, made just the way it should be.

Fratellino Ristorante

Food shouldn’t be complicated; it just has to be delicious, and the dishes on the menu of Fratellino Ristorante prove that. The restaurant is popular among the locals, and it’s the neighborhood’s favorite spot. The ones that have already visited this place will tell you that you need to eat the bread and we can agree with that. But besides that, you must try their risottos and let’s not forget about their eggplant parmigiana. Oh, and we almost forgot to mention, leave some room for ravioli filled with pears.

Sapore di Mare

Have you ever seen those giant Parmesan wheels and how they prepare food in them? Well, if you know what we are talking about and you have always wanted to try something like that, this is the place to do it. Sapore di Mare is known for their Cacio e Pepe prepared in a big Parmesan wheel. This dish is both a spectacle for the eyes and your taste buds. Besides it, there are many more mouthwatering ones.

Fiola Miami

If you want to try something new but are still inspired by authentic Italian food, then welcome to Fiola Miami. They are famous for their fabulous seafood dishes and their prosciutto-wrapped veal chops. Interestingly, this restaurant has house-made pasta, which is always a big plus, but they also offer it gluten-free. While dining here, you can also enjoy an excellent bottle of wine as they have a well-curated and extensive wine menu.
